How do I get the smell of plastic in a park newborn?

I enrolled in "nature's purest Hug-Me Park Babies R Us, because it was labeled as organic and healthy. Well, the fabrics are organic cotton, but the park is always stinky vinyl plastic mattress! I started last Friday and now, almost four days later, still stinks. I try to avoid baby products that outgas into the mattress and now we are left with this thing. I use it for naps more often as it co-sleeping in the room. I do not know if I can afford to replace now, but if anyone knows of an ecological park Mattress (cotton, wool, rubber, etc.) that can replace it, would be great. But for now, how clean it? Is there anything I can put on it to remove the smell? No chemicals or bleach or Lysol more, please.

Why not put the mattress out for several days to unleash … the odor will dissipate over time with all the air … If you are still not satisfied … How about cutting a thin piece of wood or cardboard (available in any hardware store) to fit inside the park, then cover with the batting, then a playground on the top sheet. Or if you're really smart, can make a quilt Baby and sew elastic around the edges with a sewing machine … then place along the fibers to produce a soft sweet space for the baby.
