25 Simple Things That Make Me Happy

1. When my husband calls me sweetheart.
2. Dark chocolate and strawberries. They make me happy whether served separately or together.
3. When I see rainbows, it always makes me smile.
4. Waking up to birds singing, especially when I do not need to get out of bed. It feels so luxurious.
5. Blooming trees. Their splendid colors always brightens up my day.
6. Drinking bubbly champagne from a sparkling crystal glass.
7. When I wear a little black dress, I always feel very elegant.
8. French perfume. I enjoy its delicate aroma.
9. Driving with the windows open on a beautiful sunny day.
10. California’s blue sky always makes me VERY happy.
11. Old books. When I see very old books in someone’s house, it is impossible for me to stop reading them.
12. Watching the Seinfeld show repeatedly even though I know almost all episodes by heart.
13. Fresh baked, crusty bread.
14. Rose bushes make me happy.
15. I enjoy watching the dark outline of palm trees against the sunset.
16. When my husband brings me flowers for no reason at all.
17. When I see a lot of colorful balloons.
18. Listening to oldies music from the fifties and sixties; it makes my heart smile.
19. Constantly learning new things.
20. The feel of my cool pillow when I’m very tired and finally go to bed.
21. Ocean! Seeing the ocean and the sun sparkling on the water always brings happiness to my heart.
22. The ability to work on the Internet is so captivating that I do not notice how time flies.
23. To see the excitement and joy of my little puppy when he sees me.
24. Traveling. I like to explorer different parts of the world. Walking along historical sections of Budapest or Vienna, watching unusual and strange looking fish in the United Arabic Emirate or swimming in the bright blue ocean of Cancun.
25. Returning home after traveling makes me the happiest.
